Objectives

The primary objectives of the society include: 

Enhancing Patient Outcomes:

Establish guidelines and standardize practices to optimize outcomes for patients undergoing liver transplantation.

Professional Development:

Organize conferences, workshops, and symposia to facilitate knowledge sharing and professional growth, including fellowship programs in transplant anaesthesia and critical care.

Research & Innovation:

Encourage innovative and collaborative research initiatives, including strengthening the Indian Liver Transplant Registry (ILTR), to drive policy changes and improve outcomes.

Public Education & Awareness:

Increase public education and awareness about the importance of organ donation and liver health

Collaboration & Networking:

Foster collaborations with national and international organizations to promote global standards and practices.

Advocacy & Support:

Address challenges faced by members with administrative and governmental bodies to promote policies that support the professional growth and recognition of liver transplant anaesthesiologists.

Standardization of Training:

Develop and implement comprehensive training curricula, assessment protocols, and certification criteria for transplant fellows
